The Data Science Without Borders (DSWB) through Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI), hosted a month-long hybrid hackathon that brought together 30 young AI and data science professionals to tackle two major health data challenges: record linkage and anomaly detection. Across three weeks, 15 teams built practical, scalable solutions with support from expert mentors. The final pitches delivered high-quality, deployable models, with top teams awarded 200,000 ETB and continued mentorships opportunities.
